Enjoy speaker Emily Bishton and a potluck meal. We encourage you to bring dishes made from organic, home-grown foods, like salad greens, your chickens’ eggs, berries, etc. Of course, we love to eat, so all foods are welcome.

Emily Bishton is an educator with Tilth’s Garden Hotline. Her presentation will cover the plants, design techniques, and maintenance practices that attract songbirds, butterflies and beneficial insects to your garden. When you provide good habitat for birds and beneficial insects, they decrease your maintenance time by providing natural pest and weed control. The beauty of these creatures is ample reason to create a wildwildlife- friendly garden, but there’s a lot more to the picture!
